Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CampJatra, operated by Kojagiri. By booking through the platform you accept them.

1. What CampJatra is

CampJatra is a marketplace. We list camps operated by independent camping businesses and provide the software those businesses use to manage bookings.

2. Your account

You sign in with your mobile number and a password. You are responsible for keeping your password and access to that number secure. Give accurate details — a wrong number means you will not receive your confirmation.

You must be 18 or older to make a booking.

3. Bookings

• A booking is confirmed when we show you a confirmation with a booking reference. Until then, nothing is reserved.
• Prices shown include what the camp charges for the accommodation and the guests you selected. Taxes and fees, where they apply, are shown separately on your bill.
• Availability is live, but capacity can change. If a camp cannot honour a confirmed booking, you are entitled to a full refund or an alternative date.
• The camp may set a minimum or maximum party size, seasonal closures and its own house rules. These are shown on the camp’s page and form part of your booking.

4. Payment

Depending on the camp, you may pay online at the time of booking or at the camp on arrival. Your bill shows what has been paid and what remains due. Any balance is payable to the camp.

5. Cancellation

Cancellation is covered in our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Loyalty points and referrals

• Points are earned on stays you actually complete, on reviews, and on successful referrals. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold.
• Points expire 18 months after they are earned.
• Referral rewards are paid once the person you referred completes their stay. Referring yourself, or creating accounts to claim rewards, voids them.
• We may correct point balances that were awarded in error or obtained through abuse.

7. Reviews

You may review a camp you have stayed at. Reviews are shown publicly with your rating and comment, but never your name or contact details.

We do not filter reviews by sentiment — everyone who stays is invited to review. We may remove a review that is abusive, defamatory, contains personal data, or is not about an actual stay.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Make bookings you do not intend to honour
• Attempt to access another customer’s or business’s data
• Probe, scrape or disrupt the platform
• Submit false reviews or manipulate referral rewards

We may suspend accounts that do these things.

9. For camping businesses

If you list a camp with us, you additionally agree that:

• The information you publish — photos, amenities, prices, capacity — is accurate and yours to use.
• You will honour bookings made through the platform.
• You are the Data Fiduciary for your own customer records and will handle them lawfully, including respecting withdrawn consent.
• You will only send marketing messages to customers who have consented, through the tools provided.
• You remain responsible for your own tax and regulatory obligations.

10. Availability of the service

We aim to keep the platform running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change or withdraw features.

11. Liability

We are not liable for the conduct of a camp, the condition of its facilities, or anything that happens during your stay — that is between you and the camp.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to a booking is limited to the amount you paid through the platform for that booking. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction.
